Sunbeam - THE name in egg cookers. This is the cutest little personal sized egg cooker. I tested it and boiled two eggs. Had one for breakfast - it was perfectly cooked. The lid stayed on tight and did not leak. Plastic lid is not cracked or chipped. I believe this was manufactured in 1978. It works with water - there are lines marked inside for how much water to add for what you want to cook. This little gem cooks 2 hard boiled at a time or one soft or hard poached egg. It's not quite automatic, which could've been it's downfall - it doesn't have an on/off switch. You load it with water and egg(s), plug it in, when the eggs are done the light comes on - then you need to unplug it. Comes with a little cup to poach your eggs, soft poached on one end and hard poached on the other. Hard boiled eggs sit on a metal insert. Note the little spike on the metal piece - you need to pierce the egg on the large end before boiling so it can let steam out. The only thing I didn't photo was the bottom and I've already packed it up. I think it is a USA product. Perfect for a camper or anywhere you want to conserve space. Has a 45" long cord.
