    Description

For American literature lovers, this set of three porcelain plates is from a larger set of the Official Mark Twain Plate Collection, produced by Franklin Mint in 1977. The artwork is by French artist Yves Beaujard and is printed in brown with gold plate edges. The plates' themes are 'Disguising Huck',
'Living Along The River', and 'Learning to Smoke'. Each plate includes a certificate of authenticity. A printed story synopsis for each of the plates -  and for 11 other Mark Twain plates not included in the sale - comes with the plates. Scenes include early Black Americana. All are in excellent condition.
