VERY RARE 1920S NUGRAPE SODA ADVERTISING
PLAYING CARDS - POSSIBLY ONLY SET KNOWN TO EXIST
Available for purchase is an EXTREMELY RARE deck of NuGrape advertising playing cards from the 1920's.  After a very thorough internet search, I can't find another single example of these playing cards pictured online.  The back of each card has a modestly dressed woman with short hair holding a bottle of NuGrape soda.  The design and shape of the bottle is representative of the bottle originally patented in 1920.
The cards come in a 2-part blue cardboard box with the text "Compliments NuGrape Co. of America Atlanta - GA."  There are no manufacturer markings on the cards.  I purchased this card set at a recent estate sale.  If anyone has additional information about these cards that they are willing to share, please feel free to send me a message.
Condition of this NuGrape playing card set is FAIR.  The set is complete with all 52 cards (no jokers) but has been well used.  The cards have some light age discoloration and a few of the cards have creases.  The outer box shows quite a bit of wear, especially at the corners.  Even though the set is not in pristine condition, it would make a fine addition to any collection.  Please take a close look at the many photos I've provided and determine condition for yourself.  I'm confident you'll be very pleased with this purchase!
If you collect antique soda advertising memorabilia, especially NuGrape items, don't miss your opportunity to purchase this offering.  As I mentioned previously, I haven't been able to find another single example of these cards pictured anywhere online.  You will likely never see this set again.  My Buy It Now price of only 9 seems very reasonable for such a rare find.  So buy these cards now before someone else beats you to the deal!
