Description

Blue Ridge Ginger Ale, which they claimed had been in use since May 1, 1926, was trademarked on July 31, 1930.(4)
The interesting thing is that in the registration information they listed the company as doing business not only as Marion Orange Crush Bottling Company, but also as Blue Ridge Ginger Ale Company..
The company wanted a more sanitary operation than the converted former railroad depot could offer them so they built a new plant on North Main Street which they occupied in April 1931.
No history of when they had retail sales but I am sure the Great Depression halted Fountain Service.
