An 8 real Silver Cob Coin from the reign of King Philip V Mexico City Mint 1701 - 1725. Very nice original dark grey patina. Weight  26.13   This was found among a hoard of other Spanish Colonial cob coins ca mid 1600's to early 1700's that was discovered recently in South Samatra. It is likely that these coins were used in trade by the Netherlands East India Company VOC. Please email us with any questions.
