    This beautiful fine line Acoma weddding vase pot was made by well-known Acoma potter Marie Zieu Chino (1906-1982). It is in all original condition and is signed on the bottom. It measures 6 3/4" tall by 5 1/2" from spout to spout.
    Marie Zieu Chino is one of the great matriarchs of Acoma pueblo. Her children and grandchildren are numerous and include potters Grace Chino, Rose Chino, Tena Garcia, Carol Chino, and others. Her pottery forms are amazingly uniform and renowned for being a perfect blend of form and design. Marie Z. Chino's pottery can be found in the book "14 Families in Pueblo Pottery," along with numerous other publications.
