    Description

Original Vintage LASSER'S BEVERAGE CRATE   Chicago Soda History
Here is a heavy cardboard soda crate that is a true piece of Chicago history- an original soda crate from the
    Lasser’s Beverages Company
. Founded in 1879 by John Lasser,
    Lasser’s
made and sold their own soda out of their small storefront at 2452 North Sheffield Avenue, on Chicago’s North Side. The business is now long gone, and this soda crate is one of the few pieces of memorabilia left of it.
The crate is made of heavy cardboard and is reinforced by a heavy gauge wire frame which makes it extremely solid.  This crate was used and has wear marks on all sides and the bottom but there are no cuts or breaks in the heavy cardboard.  The printing is clear.  This heavy cardboard crate measures 14.5" in length, 11" wide and 12" in height and weighs 4 lbs.  Please see pictures for condition and further description of this beverage/soda crate.
