    Description

    This is a large (8.5 X 11") and beautiful Acoma Pueblo pottery olla. The design is made from black and orange slips on a cream background. The pot is in good shape for its age (see photo of one small crack at rim and  very small rim chip).  The piece is gorgeous on a shelf (it is on one of mine now). The size is impressive and not quite captured well in the photos.  The pot represents very skilled hand-made pottery methods and rich cultural history. Wonderful old olla.
