A Very unique Octagon shaped Wooden Chaire.
The design and shape of chaire was one of the favorite style for Ii Naosuke (井伊直弼 1815-1860) who was a chief Minister Edo bakufu (government headed by a Shogun) and also famous as a tea master. His tea name was *Ii soukan (井伊宗観).

This is a Japanese Traditional Lacquer Wooden Tea caddy
Wild geese (and Autumn flowers) makie Octagon Chaire.
This is an Excellent condition with signed Wooden box.
This piece of measures: 2.362 inched (6 cm) in diameter.  2.834 inched (7.2 cm) in height.
Weight: 27 g
Including signed Wooden box: 112 g
The base material is Wood.
