This kit came out of the same location. Everything is new as I was told there are some cosmetic scratches on the 3100 unit, but still believe it is a new item. I have put some info below about the 3100 unit.
DEUS 3100 Controlled Descent Device
The DEUS 3000 Series represents a conceptual leap forward in personal controlled descent. These devices are simple to operate hands free or using the precision control dial, and quadruple redundant brakes provide maximum safety and precise control.
What really sets the 3000 Series apart is the amazing versatility. Used in conjunction with DEUS small diameter ropes, 3000 Series devices are ideal for individual escape, self-rescue, assisted rescue, tactical descent, sequential evacuations and more.
The Deus 3100 designed for indivdual firefighter bailout, rapid evacuation or rescue at heights up to a maximum of 30 m (100 ft). NFPA “Escape” certified. Available as part of the DEUS Firefighter Bailout & Rescue Kit or the DEUS Rapid Response Kit.
