Description

Although not attributed on the NGC label, this is the very scarce Shallow N variety of the already-rare 1872 cent. Problem-free choice extra fine! The Shallow N is an undervalued variety, much more difficult to find than the Bold N for the 1872 cent (more rare than Bold N by a factor of about 10).
