    Description

    Ultra rare 1864 L on ribbon Indian head cent. It was graded at PCGS as XF Details(cleaned). You can see in the photos it has a vertical die crack on the obverse. There are two vertical obverse die crack varieties for the 1864 L. The first variety the die crack goes thru the middle of the six in the date. The second like this one goes to the right side of the six. The second variety is by far the rarer of the two. A small cud developed on the forth feather. This is only the 4th one I have ever seen. This one is also a early die state reverse. The reverse should develop a heavy die crack at 6 o'clock but this one doesn't have it. There is no snow number for this variety.
